Return Policy Highlights
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for most sofas. This gives you plenty of time to test your new modular sofa or recliner sofa in your living space.
Like-New Condition
Items must be returned in original condition — unassembled, unused, with all original packaging and tags attached. This applies to every Chesterfield sofa and modern sofa we feature.
Full Refund or Exchange
Choose between a full refund to your original payment method or an exchange for a different loveseat or leather sofa that better suits your needs.
Complete Return Policy Details
Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for a return, your sofa must be in its original packaging and show no signs of wear, damage, or assembly. This includes sleeper sofas, outdoor sofas, and curved sofas. We cannot accept returns on items that have been custom-made or specially ordered unless they arrive defective.
Non-Returnable Items: Final sale items, clearance merchandise, and certain inflatable couches may not be eligible for return. Please check the product page before purchasing.
How to Return Your Sofa
Contact Customer Support
Email us at support@phanmarket.com or call our helpline within 30 days of delivery. Provide your order number, the reason for return, and photos of the washable sofa or item you wish to return.
Receive Return Authorization
Our team will review your request and send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with prepaid shipping labels when applicable. This applies to all best sofas for families and pet-friendly sofas.
Pack & Ship Safely
Repack the sofa in its original box with all accessories, cushions, and hardware. For larger items like a 3 seater sofa or 4 seater sofa, we'll arrange a freight pickup.
Inspection & Refund
Once received, we inspect the item within 5-7 business days. Approved returns receive a full refund to your original payment method. Exchanges for a different sofa wallbed or floor sofa are processed immediately.
📦 Refund & Shipping Costs
Refund Timing: Refunds are processed within 10 business days after we receive and inspect your return. The credit will appear on your statement based on your bank's processing time.
Who Pays for Return Shipping? If the return is due to our error (defective product, wrong item shipped), we cover all shipping costs. For buyer's remorse returns (changed mind, wrong size), the customer is responsible for return shipping fees. This policy applies to every high back sofa and deep seat sofa we recommend.
Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee may apply to returns of large items like sectional sofas or modular sofas that are returned without defects.

Not satisfied with your velvet sofa or rattan sofa? Our exchange program makes it easy to switch to a different model, size, or color. You can exchange your purchase for any item of equal or greater value. If the new item costs more, you pay the difference; if it costs less, we refund the difference. This applies to all cloud couch models and wooden sofa collections.
Exchanges follow the same 30-day window and condition requirements as returns. Contact our support team to initiate an exchange for a futon sofa or kids sofa.
⚠️ Damaged or Defective Items
If your Chesterfield sofa or any furniture arrives damaged or with manufacturing defects, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Provide clear photos and videos of the damage, and we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you — including all shipping fees. This policy covers corduroy couch and tufted sofa purchases as well.
International Returns
For customers outside the United States purchasing contemporary sofa or office sofa options, return policies may vary by region. International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and customs fees. Please contact our global support team before initiating a return for camping sofa or home theater sofas. Refunds for international returns will be issued in the original currency minus any exchange rate fluctuations.
